This project was comprised of the renovation of an existing and largely vacant retail center with a crumbling infrastructure and numerous code violations. The challenges were to the correct code issues, redesign the internal storm drainage system, make provisions for future features, and greatly improve the aesthetics. The greatest challenge was to bring the center in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act while still providing adequate drainage.
