This project investigates a solution to the large amount of residents who are being displaced from Hutong's in Guangzou China.  The proposal evolves the ideas of the Metabolist movement as well as concepts investigated by Robert Moses.  It is essentially a linear megablock which sits above the old Canton river and highway.  This green infrastructural piece serves as a new community for locals who have lost their homes and is also mixed use and mixed income.
