In the Summer of 2010 I had the opportunity to travel back to Italy when I was invited to be the Italian Teaching Assistant for the Vicenza Summer Program led by Professor Charlie Menefee and offered by The University of Virginia.

During my stay I was in charge of logistical tasks as well as teaching the students basic Italian vocabulary and colloquiallisms with the intention for them to be exposed to the culture and interact with the locals on a daily basis.

At the same time I was able to hone my skills in sketching while traveling around the Italian Venetto.
