About 

Originally from Panama, Michael came to The United States to pursue his studies at the University of Florida, where he obtained a Bachelor of Design in Architecture in 2002 and a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Virginia in 2011

He was a senior project manager at Murdock Solon Architects, leading designs for a beach home in Montauk; an addition and renovation to a four-story townhouse in Fort Greene; a two-story contemporary gallery with sculpture gardens in West Chelsea; a sound and video-editing headquarters in SoHo; ground-up construction for a family house in Greenwich, CT; and two roof terraces for commercial properties in Manhattan and Washington, D.C.

He has over eighteen years of experience in architecture and designing furniture systems, getting his start at companies like Archetype Design Studio and Asymptote Architecture

For the past five years Michael has been working with a design team on residential and commercial projects and has since become an associate at COOKFOX where he continues to unfold his creativity through a mentoring environment while adapting realistic design and construction techniques

Michael is a LEED BD+C and WELL accredited professional and a registered architect in the state of New York

In the six years that I spent at Archetype studio I was able to develop the necessary skills to successfully oversee a project from beginning to end while supervising an entire design staff of five through all stages.

My tasks included coordinating client meetings, collaborating with design and construction consultants, as well as reviewing bidding documents and negotiating with contractors of many trades.

In addition, I assisted in the production of contractual agreements not only between our studio and our clients but also between our clients and independent contractors to ensure quality was met at every step of the process and establish a trusted reputation within our community.
