The former site of MoMA Queens is converted into a 110,000 sq. ft. center of learning that will stimulate young, emerging artists through vocal and instrumental education. Inspired by the shape of a sound wave, the intention is to have music 'pulsate' throughout the space. This creates a sense of drama and results in dynamic courtyards wrapped around each theater - the literal and symbolic heart of the building.
