Mutanabi Street is located in Baghdad, Iraq. It is the historic center of Baghdad book selling, a street is almost 1 mile long filled with bookstores and outdoor book stalls. This conceptual development project was a part of studying urban planning. The renewal involved the redevelopment of all old books stores and ancient libraries, rehabilitation of the street by adding nodes and plazas with central spaces equipped with benches to attract the visitors and motivate everyone to read. The project involved also the historical conservation of all ancient buildings that were existed centuries ago in the same area like the old mosque and Mutanabi famous clock.
