Hedgerow Theatre Project

Challenge: To design a live/work theatre space for Hedgerow Theatre School. The idea was to both an indoor and outdoor theater for the students to practice in. It was mentioned that theatre and inspiration can happen anywhere, so why not let it. The theatre school features large spaces and 2nd story balconies presenting areas that have potential to become practice spaces where the students may connect with each other.  Dorm spaces are located on the upper floor of the main lobby space in which a large balcony area wraps all the way around the space. Just across the path are the theater spaces in which an outdoor stage area may be utilized in the warmer months.
