I am an Architect with 34 years of experience, including over 14 years of studio and senior-level management experience. My projects include award-winning designs for elder-care, multi-family housing and civic projects. I have a very broad range of experience, including hospitality, big box retail, local government, national roll-out programs and prototype development and management. I have significant experience with facility assessments, programming, quality control and construction phase services, as well as design and production.
I have managed and designed 10,000 units of multifamily housing, 2,000 units of elder care housing, and about 8,000 units of single family housing.
I enjoy handling both the day-to-day operational issues, as well as the long-term strategic issues associated with running and growing a firm. I am familiar with and comfortable using AutoDesk products, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office programs, but can hand sketch, too. I also like to write, and have written for publication and marketing materials, as well as proposals and contracts.
Running studios and project teams is a passion for me. I enjoy communicating with clients and consultants, collaborating to achieve success for the team.
