Hello! My name is Michael Marun and I am currently
a senior in the School of Architecture and Planning
at the University at Buffalo. As an aspiring architect,
I am driven by new challenges and acquiring new
skills. I hope to attain valuable experience and enter
the world of architecture so I can become a better designer.
My strongest traits are strong communication
skills and the ability to adapt to different situations. I
am eager to learn more about the built environment
and how building strategies can be used to create
structures benefiting the people and communities
they interact with.

I am a current student at the University at Buffalo in the school of Architecture and Planning. My studies here have pertained to built projects as well as group and individual design projects. I have learned how to design through physical modeling, 3D computer modeling, and 2D drawings. I am attending graduate school at the University at Buffalo in the fall of 2021 and hope to attain valuable experience at a fruitful internship.
Keelson Award, 1st Place
The Keelson Award is awarded to the studio who achieved first place in the 2019 annual regatta competition. Students were tasked with designing and building full scale buoyant vessels that they would each participate in sailing in a different leg of the race. The team that placed first overall received this prestigious award.
