In spite of it’s poor urban conditions, the shore of Guaiba River, where people can appreciate Porto Alegre’s beautiful sunset,  is one of the most known places in the city. This place’s potential has been badly used, mainly because of the lack of urban furniture.
To bring more people to the Guaíba shore, the project created the concept “Lazer+Educação” (Leisure+Education) to emphasize the urban infrastructure of the area (a soccer stadium, an elderly home, the region’s green area and the samba school).
