This architectural project’s main goal was improving one degraded area downtown Porto Alegre city. Before starting the project, one regional analysis was made searching for potential uses for the area. This research helped chosing the guidelines for the project. This area is near the city’s railway station, one big university and several small shops, so it was decided to build two towers with either commercial offices and residential apartments for students and young couples.
