R & B Office

Simplified Segregations!

The design approach for the R & B Office was to create functional and planal segregation of spaces and connect them visually. The layout begins with a reception area comprising a wooden finished high table and a black leather bench for visitors. A fluid blue artwork with calligraphed beauty sits next to the window and sets a sublime tone for the rest of the space to establish a welcoming ambience.
The entire interior scheme is curated from a composite palette of white and brown with glass curtains for transparent partitioning. A continuous strip in brown laminate runs throughout the partitions and cleverly hides the panel joints. The neutral palette of white includes back-painted glass shutters for storage, whiteboards for meeting discussions and diagramming, and translucent work-desk partitions. The classic tan-brown chequered flooring tile contradicts the white mood board yet compliments it.
The work desk layout maximises natural light intake and maintains movement flow. Meeting rooms are marked with wooden flooring and sleeker furniture pieces for an overall smarter aesthetic. The civil character is enhanced by creating arches overlapping the architectural elements, alternatively used to hide the vent grates.
With a sleek and clean language, the office space depicts subtle contradictions.
