Registration Deadline: Thursday, April 4, 2024
Submission Deadline: Thursday, April 18, 2024
"Residential design is the purview of a wide array of practices. From young offices developing their own design language to established firms refining a sensibility or investigating new ideas. Celebrating these firms and projects are the AIA|LA Residential Architecture Awards (RAAs). This inclusive awards program invites work at all scales from firms of all sizes. Projects remain in the category they were submitted in and are compared to work of like scale."
European Prize for Urban Public Space 2024
Registration/Submission Deadline: Tuesday, April 16, 2024
"The Prize, the only one of its kind in Europe, promotes debate about urban responses to challenges such as climate emergency, the increase in inequalities and the impact of technological transformations. Exceptionally, this year it incorporates Seafronts, in response to the particular vulnerability of coastal cities to climate change. [...] Its main purpose is to reflect the role that issues such as shortages, inequalities, mobility, migrations, or climate emergency and the impact of new technologies have on the urban design of public space; and to be an observatory of good practices that proposes solutions for a future in which cities will play a leading role in defining society’s evolution."
CTBUH 2024 International Research Seed Funding
Registration/Submission Deadline: Friday, May 24, 2024
"The goal of the International Research Seed Funding initiative is to assist talented researchers in developing projects/ideas to a level that would secure additional, more significant, funding—in conjunction with CTBUH. Research proposals should directly relate to the tall building typology and/or urban habitat, but can come from any topic/discipline. The proposals should have the potential to improve tall buildings and cities from a wide perspective."
