For Bustler's weekly curated picks of architecture and design competitions, we highlight four open calls inviting participants to "reimagine" an iconic I.M. Pei-designed college dorm through adaptive reuse, submit their best work to be considered emerging young architects by The Architectural Review, design a passive house, and pay homage to the victims of the Parkland Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre by designing a memorial.

Pei by boldly transforming the iconic Pei Dormitories on New College’s East Campus (a.k.a. Pei Campus). In the spirit of the original commission process awarded to Pei sixty years ago, in 1963, the contest invites practicing architects to adaptively reuse the dorms through designs that reflect plans for recreation, entertainment and athletics on the East campus."
