Summer 2021 Cohort of the NOMA Foundation Fellowship

AIA Chicago Foundation Diversity Scholarship

"AIA Chicago Foundation Diversity Scholarship Initiative, managed by the AIA Chicago Foundation, is an opportunity to attract and retain diverse, talented young professionals in Chicago and recognizes the value of new and unique voices in the profession. One $10,000 graduate scholarship and one $10,000 undergraduate scholarship is awarded each year."
RIBA Student Support Fund

AIA AAH Fellowship: Arthur N. Tuttle Jr. Graduate Fellowship in Health Facility Planning and Design

J Armand Burgun Fellowship

"This fellowship is in honor of J. Armand Burgun, FAIA, FACHA, a true pioneer of the Facilities Guidelines Institute, 'in grateful acknowledgement of his 50 years of extraordinary leadership, dedication and vision in the development and use of many generations of this document.' Fellowship award(s) range from $10,000 – $20,000 and go to students and/or professionals who demonstrate a strong interest in advancing the knowledge, application and participation of the Facilities Guidelines Institute."
Griffin/McKahan/Zilm (GMZ) Graduate Fellowship in Health Facility Planning & Design

"This fellowship has been established by three leaders in healthcare planning through the Academy of Architecture for Health Foundation Legends fund to encourage research into healthcare programming and planning. Fellowship award(s) range from $2,000 – $7,500."
The George J. Mann, AIA Travel Prize

"This travel prize has been established in honor of George J. Mann, AIA, Ronald L. Skaggs, FAIA Endowed professor in health facilities design at Texas A&M, to support travel expenses for students pursuing a healthcare architecture education. Recipients will be announced at the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health Update at the PDC Conference. Recipient prize amount is $4,000."
Kiyoshi Matsuzaki RAIC Endowment Fund and Scholarship

"This endowment fund is established in honour of Kiyoshi Matsuzaki PP/FRAIC, 1943- 2012, for the purpose of awarding an annual scholarship to be known as the Kiyoshi Matsuzaki RAIC Scholarship to a student enrolled in the RAIC Syllabus Program. The Scholarship advances Kiyoshi Matsuzaki's personal belief in 1) the future of the profession of architecture and 2) his unyielding support of the younger generation of students, the next leaders of our profession."
College of Fellows Centennial Fund for Intern/Intern Architect

"The College of Fellows Centennial Fund for Interns or Intern Architects was created with donations received from Members of the College of Fellows and Members of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada to support a deserving Intern or Intern Architect or group of Interns/Intern Architects wishing to promote the value and image of the profession."
Canada Green Building Council Scholarship for Sustainable Design and Research

"This scholarship was established through an endowment from the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) in June 2006. The main purpose of the fund is to nurture the next generation of “green” designers by promoting and encouraging sustainable research and design in Canadian Schools of Architecture."
RIBA Part 1 and 2 Bursaries
Register/Submit Deadline: Friday, May 28, 2021
"The aim of the RIBA Part 1 and Part 2 Bursaries is to provide long-term financial support to architecture students who demonstrate talent and commitment to their studies who might struggle to cover the costs of living and course-related expenditure. The schemes have been made possible by generous donations to the RIBA from the Walter Parker Trust, the Rosenberg Memorial Fund and the Ayyub Malik Trust; as well as monies raised through the RIBA Education Fund."
