Yangtze Delta Graduate School of Beijing Institute of Technology Program of Planning and Architectural Design Concepts

"The project will be developed in two phases: the first phase will consist mainly of constructing the Yangtze River Delta Graduate School of Beijing Institute of Technology, which includes 'Two Colleges and One Park;' the second phase will consist of preparing for the arrival of undergraduates. Corresponding to the two phases of construction, the proposal call contains two levels of planning and architectural design: the first level of planning is mainly for the overall site (comprised of 67 hectares of land), planning the future development of the complete Jiaxing campus, and to provide project plans for future phasing; the second level requires a specific architectural design for the first phase of the 200,000 square meter building which will be the Yangtze River Delta Graduate School (Research Institute), with a construction budget of RMB 1.5 billion (232 million USD)."
‘Architectural Gift/Toy Design’ Competition

"Participants need to incorporate any relevant elements of the 'Exotic building clusters in the Bund of Shanghai' into the design (these elements can be tangible or intangible, and participants are free to propose their own perceptions), while reflecting on the theme 'New Decade, New Needs, New Ideas.' The entries can be souvenirs, toys, stationery, tableware, home furnishings, clothing, business customization and other creative products. The single product price is recommended not to be higher than ¥200 (as a reference for product size and complexity). Each participant/team can submit at most 3 entries. Students, designers and amateurs from all kinds of professional design fields are welcome!"
International Competition of Landscape and Functional Design for Substations in Guangzhou

"[...] Guangzhou Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau and Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau jointly launch the International Competition of Landscape and Functional Design for Substations in Guangzhou (the Competition). By establishing a world-class design competition platform, the Competition intends to solicit excellent landscape and functional design proposals from renowned design institutes, design masters, as well as individuals both at home and abroad, so as to create urban landmarks through design of artistic level and better integrate the landscape and functional design of the substations with the urban development of Guangzhou. We look forward to witnessing the perfect integration of mechanics and aesthetics in the Competition, so we could make meticulous efforts to promote the urban construction, enhance the city’s function as the core engine for the GBA development, and boost the city’s initiatives in revitalizing the historical districts and making new progresses in four aspects (urban functions, soft power, modern services and business environment)."
International Competition for Urban Design of Hangzhou Qiantang Bay Future Headquarters Base

"The Hangzhou Qiantang Bay Future Headquarters Base (QBFHB) is located in the core block of Qianjiang Century City in Hangzhou, adjacent to Asian Games Village of the 19th Asian Games in 2022 in the north and Hangzhou International Expo Center (main venue of G20 summit 2016) in the south. In the future, the base will gather leading enterprises, headquarters of international organizations, and headquarters of "unicorn" enterprises both in China and around the world. Through the planning of underground, above-ground, output density and development intensity, it will create an innovative place for the global headquarters and a dynamic future-oriented urban area. The competition is open to design teams globally. Design team shall fully study and understand the location of the world-class urban agglomerations of Yangtze River Delta, and Hangzhou’s unique geographical and cultural landscape, as well as headquarters economy."
