With architecture and urbanism as catalysts, we will debate and formulate proposals for the future of cities.
EDRA Great Places Awards 2020

The Great Places Awards seek to recognize work that combines expertise in design, research, and practice; and contributes to the creation of dynamic, humane places that engage our attention and imagination. EDRA invites participation from a range of design and research disciplines — particularly projects whose significance extends beyond any one profession or field.
RE-Stock London Housing Competition
Registration Deadline: Tuesday, Jan 28, 2020
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, Jun 17, 2020
The RE-Stock London Housing architecture competition is the Bartlett School of Architecture initiative in partnership with Bee Breeders Architecture Competition Organisers and ARCHHIVE BOOKS where participants are asked to look at existing iconic council housing and RE-visit, RE-imagine, RE-invigorate and RE-think them. Looking at different iconic housing schemes, participants are free to either extend these existing buildings and transform them, or by echoing their spirit with newly design buildings on a site of their choice within London. This architecture competition requires participants to be bold and think outside the traditional box.
Open call for entries: Children’s center with a social impact International architecture competition for schematic design
Register/Submit Deadline: Wednesday, Feb 19, 2020
Karin Dom is among the first organizations in Bulgaria to create alternative to the institutions model for services and care for children with special needs and their families. Currently, Karin Dom supports over 300 children and families and trains over 1200 specialists and parents per year. All these activities are carried out in an old building that doesn’t meet the needs of the organization for development. Karin Dom invites all architects from all over the world who are willing to work on, and are interested in social projects, to participate in this competition for schematic design for a new Karin Dom building.
