The potential of architectural photography – also as an artistic development – helps challenge the way we look at and work with architecture, and in an image filled world the photo is more relevant than ever before. This is the Aarhus School of Architecture's reason for launching a new international architecture photo competition for students. We call the competition Photo of the Year, a companion piece to the school’s well-known drawing competition, Drawing of the Year.
City of Dreams Pavilion 2020: Call for Proposals

FIGMENT has teamed with the Emerging New York Architects Committee (ENYA) of the American Institute of Architects NY Chapter (AIANY) and the Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY) to host a competition to design and construct an architectural pavilion in Lighthouse Park on Roosevelt Island, the City of Dreams Pavilion. The 2020 pavilion will be our tenth City of Dreams Pavilion. Our theme for the 2020 pavilion points toward the future.
Open Call: Gatogether _ A new Community Center in Lima, Peru

DNADD and Techo share the same mission: build a new community development center. Provide San Juan de Lurigancho’s inhabitants with a place to gather, where they can finally be able to work, study, play and, above all, share. Participants should develop a new community centre, able to constitute the reference point for the inhabitants. It’s around this new centre that people will organise their collective while trying to improve the settlements where they live.
Essay Competition "What is Small-Scale Architecture?"

Do you have an idea or something to say about small-scale architecture? Bee Breeders, in partnership with ARCHHIVE BOOKS, is calling for essay submissions for their second print publication “What is Small-Scale Architecture?”, which is planned for release in Spring 2020. Submissions from participants related to any field or discipline are welcome.
