Powerhouse Precinct at Parramatta International Design Competition

The open international two-stage competition seeks an outstanding multi-disciplinary team – with exceptional skills in design and placemaking – for the landmark new Powerhouse Precinct at Parramatta, Sydney. The centrepiece of the precinct is a 24-hour museum, a new global cultural icon, that will be built on the banks of the Parramatta River in Sydney’s newly-designated Central River City, one of the fastest-growing parts of the region.
2019 Lyceum Fellowship - A Sanctuary
Register/Submit Deadline: Friday, Mar 22, 2019
Founded in 1985, the Lyceum Fellowship's mission is to advance the profession of architecture by engaging students in design and travel. The 2019 competition aims to explore how landscape and architecture as sanctuary and refuge can be coalesced to develop a place of multi-sensory contemplation and reconciliation. The competition welcomes submissions from students attending any accredited school of architecture in North America.
Future Library Competition

CODE and Università degli Studi di Genova launch “Future Library”, a student competition of ideas for the design of a learning space for the University of Genoa. Student entrants will have the opportunity to interpret and shape the future of places dedicated to learning and knowledge. A cash prize of €15,000 will be awarded to winners.
CLUE | International Lighting Design Competition

This year's CLUE competition theme LIGHT & DISRUPTION explores how light can help to prevent challenging situations and crisis or manage emergencies when they occur. Young students and professionals are invited to imagine the ways in which lighting can make a difference – big or small.
