onePULSE Foundation Memorial and Museum Ideas Generator

The onePULSE Foundation is proud to announce the first phase of the process for designing and building a memorial, museum and associated open space, which will honor the memory of those lost and affected by the tragic events of June 12, 2016 at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, as well as inspire and bring hope to all of those who visit this place of remembrance and education. At this time, the Foundation is not looking for finished designs, but rather big, broad ideas that will enhance the Foundation's work.
Exit Architecture: Open Call for Projects/Designs for Exhibition

Exit Architecture is a speculative look at designing for the afterlife in all of its potential architectural and design forms, and new ways of marking our exit. This open call for exhibition projects seeks proposals for physical artifacts that present a critical, projective, and speculative look at the present and future of this realm of design. Exit Architecture is curated by Warren James, Julia van den Hout, and Kyle May as the first curated exhibition organized by the Art Omi: Architecture program.
Trans Plan 2018: IMMERSIVE EVOLUTION
Registration Deadline: Sunday, Sep 30, 2018
Submission Deadline: Friday, Oct 5, 2018
Organized by A2G (Architecture Gallery at the Faculty of Architecture University of Manitoba), the challenge of TRANS PLAN 2018 is to design an immersive installation that evolves throughout the duration of the exhibition. The winning entry, selected by the jury, will be installed at A2G for public viewing for 50+/- days in the fall of 2018. This competition is open to all students registered in a spatial design or exhibition design program.
