If you aren't packing your bags to go away on holiday, why not take the time at the weekend to explore the city outside your door? There are plenty of walking tours to choose from as well as talks and workshops to keep you busy. Don't miss out on visiting on exhibitions ending this week; both Hope to Nope at the Design Museum and the London School of Architecture's Idencity close their doors in the coming days.

Pecha Kucha for Creatives: With Almudena Romero | 10 August
Pecha Kuncha, roughly meaning 'chit chat' in Japanese, is a much loved format for discussions in the design industry. New London Neighbourhood Tour - The City | 11 August
This tour of the historic and finacial heart of our capital, The City of London, will explore how this area has regenerated time and time again over the centuries. Yoga for Creativity & Mental Wellbeing | 12 August
Part yoga session and part creativity workshop, this session would be a perfect way to start a Sunday morning. After the event, expect to be able to approach and solve problems creatively.
Rookeries, Railways, and Radicals – Architecture Down The Fleet River | 11 August
