The Kirkaldy Testing Museum is one of the wonders of London's pioneering engineering history. Open for just a few hours per month, this museum was built around the Kirkaldy Univeral Testing Machine, which was originally used to test the strength of construction and manufacturing materials. We today still benefit from the results of these tests carried out by this fascinating machine; visit to find out about the inventor, the machine, and the family who ran the business for almost 100 years.

Get your brain and body working together in this surreal collection of installations at the Hayward Gallery. Performance art and participatory thought-provoking constructed landscape contains everything from monstrous bodies to glittering mirrors and foil.
The new London Bridge Station - New London Awards Overall Winner 2018 | 3 August
This talk from the team who designed and built this year's overall winner of the New London Awards, London Bridge Station, will show how the station can accommodate a huge increase in rail passengers. The design of the new concourse under the platforms is just one way in which the busy hub has been future-proofed for the constant demands in commuters.
Banksy, Greatest Hits: 2002-2008 | until 25 August
This free exhibition of Banksy's work is the first time that a UK gallery has showcased the world-famous street artist's creations in one place. Well known pieces, Such as Girl and Balloon (as pictured) will be viewed side by side with Banksy's widely unknown pieces, showing how this artist has incredible skill going far beyond stencilled street art.
