Sukkah x Detroit

Sukkah x Detroit celebrates the Jewish harvest festival of Sukkot in Detroit’s Capitol Park through design, agriculture, and Jewish programming. Detroit, home to 1300 urban farms, is the only UNESCO City of Design in the United States. Sukkah x Detroit honors both. Throughout the week, 5-7 sukkahs, selected through an international design competition, will be on display in Detroit's historic Capitol Park, accompanied by complementary programs and events to be announced.
TOKYO (anti) LIBRARY

Create an iconic 21st century ‘public library’ in the city of Tokyo, Japan and debate its role in a ‘digital age’. The proposal must aim to become a solution to the frequently questioned vitality of a library by enhancing and transforming its capabilities as a ‘knowledge sharing and research prototype’ that will become a model for the future libraries of the world.

How would you redesign the Guggenheim Museum in New York? The aim of the competition is to re-create the iconic museum at the same exact site but with an entirely new perspective by the participants.
London Affordable Housing Challenge
Registration Deadline: Tuesday, Oct 9, 2018
Submission Deadline: Monday, Nov 5, 2018
Participants are asked to design a pilot-phase concept for affordable housing within Britain’s capital city. In order to be successful, designs need to be easily rolled out to increase the capacity of housing stock, while at the same time with minimal use of land and resources.
