Product designer Vahakn Matossian and artist Imogen Piper join sound designer and electronic musician Yuri Suzuki in this evening of breaking new ground within music and sound design. Expect to hear politics, design, and melody mix in the evening's program.
Post-Industrial Rurality: Shifting Narratives | 5 April
Rural areas are perhaps those most affected by social and industrial changes. This exhibition subtly investigates the reality of small towns and regions after the decline of traditional industries. This exhibition showcases key studies, from the disused colliery turned aeronautic training centre in South Wales, to the many quarries of Portland, Dorset.
Planning for 10 million: Rationalising Land Use Allocation in the Green Belt | 10 April
In recent years there has been plenty of discussion over the loosening of London's Greenbelt to provide room for more affordable housing. This talk will go into whether the protection of this belt and London's industrial workspaces should be re-evaluated and if politicians would even consider a change.
City Crits: Kings Cross led by Joe Morris | 7 April
Joe Morris, founding director of Duggan Morris, will lead this walking tour exploring King's Cross. This is part of the Architecture Foundation's new series of walks around the areas of London currently undergoing massive transformation.
The EY Exhibition Picasso 1932 - Love, Fame, Tragedy | Until September
This exhibition of over one hundred paintings, sculptures, and drawings created by Picasso within just a five day period in March 1932. The exhibition also has family photographs on display and insights into his personal life at the time.
