Bringing together international designers, artists, and thinkers, this symposium will explore the relationship between design and risk. The evening will be chaired by the curator of Beazley Designs of the Year Glenn Adamson.
Architect@Work | 24 & 25 January
With some incredible
speakers, including Jonathan Tuckey and Alice Dietsch, scheduled throughout
this year's programme, Architect@work promises to be a lively, insightful, and
innovative exhibition of products, applications, and services. The informal nature
of the format encourages a slower pace for visitors, to explore concepts, and
to maybe have a drink while you're there.
Protest Banner Lending Library with Aram Han Sifuentes | 28 January
This workshop gives participants the chance to create their own politically inspired banner. Run by the founder of the Protest Banner Lending Library, the internationally run workshops have become a place to 'come together in solidarity through making'.
EUROPA 4: FRANCE + BELGIUM | 23 January
RIBA's fourth talk in the EUROPA series is this evening focussing on France and Belgium. The series' aim is to expose the most experimental approaches to architectural issues throughout the continent. This talk will be by designers from LAN (Local Architecture Network) and Lina Ghotmeh Architects, 51N4E, Gijs Van Vaerenbergh.
