This panel discussion will explore the ways in which we depend on technology in the architectural field. We use digital invention and innovation on a daily basis to produce drawings and visualise concepts; something of sci-fi fantasy a mere 50 years ago. This conversation will cover the important questions on this impact.

Sadiq Khan's pledge to establist a Lonfon Public Space Charter is responded to in two talks at the Garden Museum this week. The first looks at the demands and needs for different public spaces in our city, and the growing complexity of providing it. The second will look at how London can ever be a 24 hour city, and questions the closure of parks and public areas at night-time.

Europe is a tricky subject for us all these days, but the turbulent recent years have acted as a lens in which to view how we live as a continent. Tackling migration, asylum, hopes, and ruin, this event is a response to Europe in triptych.

The Bartlett's Spring International Lecture Series caries on this week with a discussion of what it is to be a design activist. SueAnne Ware will delve into the ins and outs of socially engaged practices, and the hopes they have for the future. 

Architecture of Power | 20 January

A series of walks will start on Saturday, led by the Architecture Foundation's Architecture Guide. Revealing hidden gems in the royal architecture of this city, the tour will cover official residences and political locations which have shaped architecture. 

Industry Insights: Designing for a better tomorrow | 18 January

This university student talks series  'Industry Insights' is aiming to encourage knowledge sharing and networking in the industry. Tickets to this talk also serve as entry into the Beazley Designer of the Year exhibition.
