This week is packed full of talks covering everything from how to create minimalist gallery to social architectural design. Friday night in particular has a lot to offer, so just as well that there's a yoga session on Saturday morning to unwind.

MODIGLIANI at TATE Modern | 23 November - 2 April
Modigliani is the creator of some of the most memorable works of the 20th Century. 12 of his seductive nudes will be seen together in this, the largest group of his work in the UK. His work has been censored, deplored, and celebrated since the first showing of these nudes in 1917.
This month's TATE Late is inspired by the current 'Red Star Over Russia' exhibition. The evening will be filled with its usual array of workshops and music, but with the addition of 'fiskultura’ (physical exercise restaged from the archives of ex-communist societies), vodka, chess, and life-drawing.
The TATE are also offering the chance to visit the Modigliani exhibition (below) for just £10 as part of the evening events.
The Social in Architecture: Designing Risk and Opportunity through Housing | 24 November
Responding to the need for the development of social architecture, this talk is the first in a series of social architecture talks which have been opened up to the public. This is an important step in creating a consistent and constructive conversation about the need for a focus on social architecture.
Architectural Yoga | 25 November
Following the success of the meditation classes held at the Design Museum this summer, this Saturday will see the introduction of a yoga class, inspired by the built environment. Reflecting on the construction story of the building itself, the class will take the body as a starting point, and explore our understanding of the spaces around us.
John Pawson: An Architect’s Inspirations | 28 November
Last week, John Pawson talked of his (perhaps unexpected) passion for colour. This week, the award winning designer will be at the Design Museum in Kensington discussing the interior and it's huge 2016 transformation, for which he was responsible.
Book Launch: Architecture and the Landscape of Modernity in China | 28 November
Launching their new book with a talk and drinks, Dr Edward Denison is at the Bartlett next Tuesday. The book seeks to challenge conventional history, and to explore modernism which radiated from the West, and the distinctive origins of modernity in China.
