i can't help but feel unimpressed. okay, so i've only seen the images available on the exhibition site and the telegraph piece. but, really, he didn't step out of the taxi and walk around to the back of the buildings? i understand the point, and really, any project that attempts to un-exoticize these places, especially africa these days, is welcome. but i'm still underwhelmed. maybe the exhibition will travel, and it or the books will prove me wrong.
wow those photographs are really bad. he took a vacation to africa and his tourist photos are being exhibited at the design museum. must be nice to be a semi well known architect.
