As previously reported, Toshiko Mori's Darwin Martin House Visitor Center opened on March 18th in Buffalo, NY. Two years ago Javier interviewed Mori for the Spanish-language journal Entorno #03, addressing this project and more, and has now shared the piece on his blog.

"So the issue of pre-fabrication really dooms you to standardized parts and manufactured parts and you assemble parts. With mass-customization, you don’t have to make stock. You can actually really “make” customized parts. It’s actually more economical to mass-customize."
She then goes on to make the point that computers are more useful/and paradigm changing with regards to fabrication than graphics and rendering..
