We believe that designing future work environments goes far beyond what has traditionally been understood as designing a place to work on a nine-to- five schedule. The massive changes that are happening within the definition of work space itself have led to a point in which companies, entrepreneurs and professionals are seeking new physical and digital environments that can make their ideas grow and become enriched rapidly.
New business models are demanding ecosystem-like structures where unexpected can happen, offering new and exciting ways of tackling problems and challenges.
As part of that working ecosystem, companies are looking for new relations to happen between the individuals that form part of those structures. Casual encounters, happy discoveries and exciting coincidences will foster creativity within a team through a process that has been defined as Serendipity.
At the Master in Work Space Design we are seeking candidates who can see opportunities in unexpected places and take advantage of them in new ways. We would like to reward candidates who are already serendipity-makers and who want to apply their skills to the field of work environments.
To do so, we are launching the “Serendipity-Makers Scholarship” that consists in a 50% scholarship to undertake our Master in Work Space Design during the 2014-15 intake.
