Fast Company reports from Greenbuild '08 where Oakland-based activist Van Jones predicts opportunities for new "green jobs" in the construction industry.
I just recently finished Van Jones' new book "The Green Collar Economy: How One Solution Can Fix Our Two Biggest Problems" and he really makes a great case on how this shift to "green collar jobs" can improve the economy at all levels. We all need to strive to see the intersection between a clean economy, healthy communities, and job development.
