i love it! it is getting better and better. i won't rest until there is a close to 100% portable olympics that the facilities can be shipped.

It will be refreshing to see an Olympics where the athletes become the focus.
Well for non-architects, the athletes are really the focus. I think that sometimes we are so obsessed with buildings that we don't realize how irrelevant these can be in many situations.
And in terms of humans, if you google any "D" celebrity you will get thousand more hits that your model "starchitect".
Perhaps its my architectural eyes, but I had the distinct impression that Beijing was more about China than sport.
