Rem Koolhaas will give a presentation titled, “Public Space,” at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at The Seattle Public Library, Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Microsoft Auditorium. Koolhaas of the Office for Metropolitan Architecture and former Seattleite Joshua-Prince Ramus were principal designers of the award-winning Central Library building, along with Seattle-based LMN Architects. The presentation, co-sponsored with AIA Seattle, is free and open to the public. Koolhaas’ presentation will be a key highlight of a daylong celebration of the successful conclusion of The Seattle Public Library’s 10-year “Libraries for All” building program.
