$145 per person per tour IF you are already a Hammer member. Which is a minimum of $50 a year. So much for museums as democratizing forces in the world of art.... I mean, if you are throwing down that kind of money for an afternoon, couldn't you just buy a Lautner?
So rediculous. No student discounts. My friend volunteered as a docent and she doesn't even get to see any other houses except for the one she's stationed in.
The fee doesn't even get you parking! It gets you "discounted" parking. MAK center keeps running these "public" events. Seems like the "public" makes a bit more than the typical architect/designer.
Go to the Hammer and see the exhibit.
