On Monday UNESCO gave six properties in Berlin the World Heritage seal of approval. What made these social housing projects particularly special was that they were designed by the leading architects of the day, including Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius, as well as Bruno Taut and Hans Scharoun. spiegel
