There comes a time in family life when the kids need their own rooms. One solution is to add on. Rarely, though, does your average middle-income household hire one of the world’s leading architects to do the job. NYT
big name architects love to do tiny projects. it gets them away from all that big production team work stuff and they have to sit down and sketch something like they use to do ages ago! good for him... great interiors. outside is a bit one liner publicity shot and so 'so what' after 15 minutes.
I like the concept of seperate room spaces and the use of the roof as private space. That particular shade of blue screams publicity more than serenity, though.
