The Tulane Architecture community is sad to lose Franklin Adams, Professor Emeritus of Tulane School of Architecture and artist, cajun dancer, writer and friend, who passed away on Saturday April 13 in the New Orleans home he designed and built. He was 74. Times Picayune

wow. prof adams had a HUGE impact on me. he was a big santa claus of a man with an infectious laugh. his love for architecture and art in general and how he expressed the excitement he felt in being able to design and make art for a living were inspirational.
so true: He loved life, almost more than anybody I've ever known. He was a real bon vivant....
I never questioned where his gifts came from. They were just there.
