Twice as tall as Burj Dubai!?
The UK's Hyder Consulting is designing a structure that will be twice as tall as the Burj Dubai, according to a consultant involved with the project - making it by far the tallest tower in the world.
Considering the Burj Dubai will rise to 818m, the new tower will be over 1,600m tall, making it the world's first mile-high tower. Meed

hmmm...one has to wonder if they ever completely fill up those record setting towers with tenants.
It looks like Wright's vision of a mile-high skyscraper may one day be a reality.
'build vertical if you want to be on the cover of the magazine...'
this stuff is getting too tall for magazines...the finished base of burj dubai barely fit on the cover of metropolis!
that makes 510meters seem short!
