Singapore is a literal Tropical Island, only one degree north of the equator, temp and humidity hover in the 90s year round. No Chem needed for this Lawn, methinks.
perhaps but then again lawn turf like this usually requires the use of a dichlorophenoxyacetic acid to maintain its appearance... but your right that the amount of water to maintain such a green color would be no problem in singapore with the amount of rainfall there. anyway i'd rather see a green roof with local plants like the one below which is in singapore's botanic gardens.
