Vancouver has been selected as the world's most "livable city" and Toronto the fifth most livable in a survey of 132 cities by the Economist magazine. Globe & Mail
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. But Vancouver is boring to death! Just nothing to do in a super clean downtown.
Also, Vancouver has the poorest neighborhood in Canada....freaky!!!
Watcha talking bout, you can always grab a cup of you favorite expresso drink and hangout at Granville island, Kits, Stanley Park, watch moss grow. Mold even, I grew up in Vancouver I still think its a nice place, there's worse places to be from.
I disagree with the first statement that says Vancouver is boring to death. I recently visited the city for a 9 day vacation. While there, I was bombarded with things to see, parks to visit, galleries to meander through, bars to drink, etc. The city and its surrounding areas seemed to be limitless in their possibilities of exploration and entertainment.
It always shocks me when I hear people say that a major metroplitan city is boring to death. What? How? Why do you think it became and retains a large population? Bucksnort, Tennessee is boring to death, not a city of a few million residents. What do you think the locals do to keep themselves entertained?

the fact that the threat of terrorism was seen as a negative totally nulls the list.
nyc is so great even the terrorists want to visit.
and zurich and copenhagen aren't livable unless you make a decent wage, the c.o.l. in those cities is ginormous.
I agree holz.box.
