Brad Pitt has managed to raise necessary funds to help maintain Chicago's Mies landmark, the Farnsworth house, by insisting that the producers of the Japanese jeans ad he starred in shoot the commercial in the house. As a result the production company was responsible for paying $50K to the Landmark Preservation Council of Illinois. Chicago Sun-Times
