none, china has nothing to learn from the history of the west, it is a totally different synthesis of culture.

I disagree. China HAS been learning from "the West" for quite sometime since its late imperial era. Not always very smoothly or productively for sure.
If you were reacting to some condescending tone or courting gestures made by the many New Lefts in recent years, then yeah, I know how you feel. And I would totally agree China has many unique social, political and economic paradigms that are not readily similar to the developed nation's own modernising experiences.
