Named after the sheikh, Mohammed bin Rashid city will aim to harness the tourism growth in Dubai -- Dubai's official statement estimated current tourism growth at 13 percent and retail sales growth at 25 percent annually.
The development plans for the new city are largely divided into four themes -- family tourism, retail, art galleries and a “unique area that will provide an integrated environment for entrepreneurship and innovation in the region.”

That is a f***ing awful rendering
Now, my Dear and Honorable Sheikh, what my colleague above was, obviously incoherently, trying to communicate, was that our team, with ease, could produce for you the world-class urban environment that the name Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum deserves. As it happens, we should be in Dubai next week, Insha'Allah. Would love to talk ove tea.
what growth? isn't dubai bankrupt? pretty sure it's called burj khalifa for just this reason.
Might be another desperate attempt to get investors to put money into the sinking ship.
