looking at the majority of comments at the end of the article made me want to go out and kick the general public. why ask them about their views on architecture - really they have no imagination!!!! (oh, of course i don't mean that... honest)
or maybe it's the fault of the architects, failing to inspire?
i made a special trip to visit this building and it is stunning. how much i wish that i could have visited the restaurant! it didn't seem to have any structural problems - if it were to be turned into an exciting venue, and spruced up a bit, i'm sure it would be adopted by those fickle locals as a quirky example of why the north of england is cooler than the south.
