The architects, Grimshaw, have taken something delicate and beautiful and surrounded it with a building that looks like a 1980s bus station. Clumsy and ineptly detailed, their new glass greenhouse around the Cutty Sark totally ruins her thrilling lines, obscures much of her exquisite gilding and cynically forces anyone who actually wants to see her to pay their £12 and go inside. — blogs.telegraph.co.uk

The interiors are quite beautiful, but the exterior seems like an engineering company did it
Ya know, you can kind of see what they were thinking here in trying to use the glass to give the appearance of floating on water while maintaining access to everything below but the execution doesn't hold up well to that initial idea. Instead, it looks like some kind of bastard hovercraft.
Yo!
Cutty snark!
I need a drink after seeing photos of this one!
