By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees that DWR may, in its sole discretion, elect to manufacture and sell a product based on the winning design. Sponsors reserve all rights related to the winning entry, including the rights to edit, publish, use, adapt, exploit, modify, copy, disseminate, post, or dispose of the winning entry, online, in print, film, television, or in any other media for advertising and promotional or other purposes. In the event that DWR elects to manufacture and sell a product from the winning design, DWR and the winning entrant will negotiate a contract regarding the terms and conditions for such product manufacture and sale….One grand prize winner will work with Design Within Reach, subject to DWR’s sole discretion and negotiation of contract terms, to have their design put into production and sold via DWR's retail channels. All details will be outlined in full for the designer during the pre-production process. If the winning design is deemed unsuitable for production or if contract terms cannot be reached, the grand prize winner will, as an alternative to the production and sale of the design, receive a $5,000 gift card good for any purchase at Design Within Reach.
