As if Diller Scofidio + Renfro’s giant inflatable balloon set to rise (sometime) from its roof, Up-style, weren’t a sufficiently kinetic addition to the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington D.C., the institution announced in a press release yesterday that artist Doug Aitken will turn the building’s circular facade into an enormous 360-degreen screen for nearly two months this spring. — blogs.artinfo.com

Too bad it will be coming down a few days before the AIA Convention in DC.
I think aitken must have been reading Archinect... and saw Per's Gallieria...
Great idea. Tough projection.
I have seen 3 projector Cinerama screened at the Cinerama Dome. And I also viewed 12 projector Cine-circle which,as imagined, was a360 degree multi-projection with audience standing around in the center. This is more like the inverse, a reversal of the panorama. A very nice piece.
