Over at Places Design Observer, Nancy Levinson interviewed Stephen Luoni Director of the University of Arkansas Community Design Center. The two discuss UACDC's projects such as their Visioning Rail Transit in Northwest Arkansas: Lifestyles and Ecologies, Low Impact Development: A Design Manual for Urban, Riparian Meadows, Mounds, and Rooms: Urban Greenway or their Walmart funded Finding the Social in Big Box Retail. The feature is the first of a series of profiles of university-based design centers that Places will publish, throughout this year.
