-What criterion follows the concession of the prize?
- We tried to be to as much of architects which have value for the culture and which they exert an exemplary race. In the last years we have given a ampler approach: Rem Koolhaas, Jorn Utzon, Glenn Murcutt, Zaha Hadid...
-Indeed, with Murcutt the jury made trizas to the architects stars, to whom he accused "to be sold to the brass foils of the success".

-the impression Gives that the Pritzker has been granted trying to content to all the countries, and thus there are cases, like the French Christian de Portzamparc or the German Gottfried Boem, whom they have defrauded.
- the prize is not infallible, we can commit errors. But is to celebrate the race of a consecrated architect or or from whom it is emerging, and to this one it has left the responsibility to deserve that prize or to throw it by the hut. To Zaha Hadid, for example, it has come to him very well.
-There is some Gallego with possibilities of winning?
- Yes, whenever he is a good architect. There are some they know very well his earth and they are worthy to be considered...
-It says names: Caesar Portela?
- Humm... is Galician... and was one died, Alexander of the Sota, that would have gained the Pritzker, without a doubt. He is a fundamental architect, if she were I here I would bet by him. But many by the way have remained: Eladio Dieste -- also of Galician origin --, Erskine...
