In case you haven't gotten your hands on Chris Cunningham's new fiendishly freaky dvd, Rubber Johnny, in full Cunningham form, is currently online, or at least a good portion of it anyway. (via: screenhead) Not sure for how long though. Recently, images of the film were projected on the wall of the NCP car park in Soho, and onto the side of The Natural History Museum "to awaken the streets." BEWARE, not for the weak eyes, ears, or stomach.
Look for a NYC screening July 12th at the Lincoln Center, and U.S. dvd release same day. Read a review at Pixel Surgeon.

do you mean "not for the week eyes, ears..." or
"not for the weak eyes, ears..."? I'm confused...
thank you dear sir devlin, i have corrected my spelling mistake. but you have to admit, the translator is inching towards improvements?
Oh my God I hate you. I'm not going to be able to sleep now...
What the hell is that!?!?
yes, I do admit that... all you guys do a great job... didn't mean to come down on you like a ton of bricks...
ha ha, I know, I tried warning people. sorry if it gives you permanent nightmares. but the kid is probably one of the most talented filmmakers out there right now.
I know... I'm familiar with all his Aphex Twin stuff, but Jesus...
I saw maybe 10 seconds and just wanted to cry. I still might... It brings all the horrid visuals of seeing Alien for the first time right back to my conscious mind. I've never been this freaked out over something...
that little dog, keeps its cool the whole time, that cracked me up. helped balance the darkness for me. but i hear ya, i think this is his darkest one yet. stirs you up on a mangled childhood cruelty loss of innocence level. like kids picking on a retard or something, just downright dark. but its spastic in his own playful way, rubber johnny is partying in there, or just wiggin', or a combo. there is a actually some secret liberation and joy in there too. not sure, ambiguity of cruelty and defiance. anyway...
hilarious !
sadly, I missed the Traffic festival in Torino Italy about 10 days ago. here's a short vid of the only live collaboration APHEX and Chris have done together (that I know of)...beware the download is pretty long.
